It is with a feeling of immerse pride that I stand here today to welcome you to today’s deliberations on the issue of finding sustainable solutions to the problem of xenophobia. I do so on behalf of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, which is jointly hosting today’s event with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
With regard to the recent outbreak of xenophobic violence, the two Foundations jointly issued the following statement:
